FAQ

Do you photograph weddings?

The short answer is no. Not at this time. The long answer is wedding photography is a very special niche, like Birth Photography, which I do cover. It requires specific gear, insurance, training & knowledge. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, there are many to choose from. Be sure you carefully look over their work before booking them and carefully read their contract.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm in Minot, North Dakota. I can travel throughout the state. For a special situation I may travel further. We would need to discuss details if this is something you may need.

When will we get our photos?

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 3 weeks (sometimes less). You will create a favorites list and those will be available for download. You're welcome to purchase additional images, share them on social media, and order prints as well!

How many pictures will we receive?

Birth coverage & Fresh 48 sessions receive all useable images in a password-protected gallery.
All other sessions receive anywhere from 5-15 images included in their package with the option to purchase additional images separately after the gallery has been received.

Do we receive prints from you?

No, my sessions do not come with prints.
All clients receive a fully edited online viewing gallery where they choose their favorite images. These images will be available to download and a FULL PRINT RELEASE will be included. A Full Print Release means clients & their family & friends are granted permission to order prints from any lab of their choice. The term "full" implies there are no limits to sizes, mediums or number of prints. I do not restrict prints.

Can we order prints, canvases or other products?

YES! Absolutely.
I offer archival prints, metal prints, & canvases from a pro-lab that only services professional photographers. You're welcome to visit my "Prints+Products" page to see what the current rates are.

What does "all-inclusive" mean?

I am an "all-inclusive" photographer. This means your session fee, use of studio or travel to a local location, the photographer's time, communication, booking, planning & setting up for your session, use of props, wraps or outfits (for newborn or milestone sessions), editing time & skill, 30 day-online viewing gallery, set number of digital images & print release are included in the rate listed on each session information page. Some sessions offer upgrades in addition to the session rate. Those prices are listed as well.

How do I download my photos?

Galleries are only guaranteed active for 30 days. You may download the gallery as many times as you need during that time. Photos will download into a compressed/zipped folder for you to extract when you're ready.

To Download a Full Gallery:
1. Click "Open" on the gallery homepage.
2. Allow the photos to load, then along the top right, above the photos you'll see a download symbol.
3. Click that download symbol and enter the PIN.
[troubleshooting: If the site says you don’t have permission, check that you’re not in your favorites list. That’s the number one issue, because you can’t download from there.]
4. Wait for images to process. You can keep the page open and wait for confirmation, or watch your emails. This usually only takes a few minutes.
5. Once downloaded, images will be in a compressed/zipped folder. These images are preview size only in this folder. You will need to "unzip" or "extract" the images for use. This action may vary depending on your specific system.

To download one image at a time or to put a couple on a mobile device, you'll look for the menu bars, or an album titled "Selections" Click that album, once it loads then click on each individual image & click the download symbol there then enter the PIN. memory. If you bought/received the entire gallery, you will not need to look for the "Selections" album. Instead you'll just click on the individual images as they load in the main album/gallery.

IF YOUR GALLERY IS NOT LISTED, OR THE LINK YOU HAVE DOESN'T WORK, THE GALLERY MAY HAVE EXPIRED. CONTACT ME TO HAVE IT REACTIVATED. There is a fee to reactivate galleries and if it's been over a year, to pull the gallery from archives.
